Pandora Radio is an online music service that launched on August 25, 2005, from Tim Westergren's Music Genome Project. It allows anyone to create their own radio station based on an artist they enjoy. Once a radio station as been created, Pandora will pick songs and artists that relate to that artist as well as the ratings you give different tracks while listening to the service. This feature makes Pandora one of the best locations to find new artists and types of music you will enjoy. Pandora can be accessed through any device capable of accessing the Internet, and that supports Adobe Flash. The service also works with smartphones, Internet radios, many Internet enabled DVD and Blu-ray players, and other devices connected to the Internet.
