PLCC

Short for plastic leaded chip carrier, PLCC is a cheaper version of the CLCC (ceramic leadless chip carrier). Although similar, PLCC and LCC (leadless chip carrier) are not compatible with one another. The picture shows an FWH (firmware hub) chip in a PLCC on a computer motherboard.
