Created in 2006, Redbubble is an e-commerce website that features print-on-demand products. It allows artists to create designs for their products, while Redbubble handles the manufacturing, sale, and shipping of those products. Anyone can browse the products on the Redbubble homepage or a seller's individual storefront page. The artist is given a commission for each design sold, while Redbubble takes the remaining percentage. The commission, called the "Artists Margin" by Redbubble, can be customized by the seller, who can raise or lower the price of each product.

Many designs on Redbubble feature "fan art" of existing third-party content, including characters from television shows and movies. Redbubble has various products available, including hoodies, socks, and t-shirts. They also sell decorative products, like blankets, pillowcases, stickers, and wall-art.
