Reliability Monitor

The Microsoft Windows Reliability Monitor is a utility found in Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 10 that lets you view the stability history of your computer. It allows the user to identify previous warnings and past critical and informational events. The picture below shows an example of what the reliability monitor looks like running on a computer with Windows 7. As you can see, each day is broken down into columns. When a column is clicked, additional details appear about that particular date.

How to run the Windows reliability monitor

  1. Click the Start
  2. In the Search box type reliability and press Enter for View Reliability History.
