ROBLOX is a free-to-play online video game where players utilize blocks to build structures and shape the environment around them. The blocks vary in shape and size, as well as the types of materials that make the block. ROBLOX is designed for ages 7 and older and has won various awards for being an educational game for children of all ages.

ROBLOX was created in 2004 by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel. It went public in 2005 and as of June 2011 there were 5.7 million players. While the game is free, players have the option of paying real money for in-game currency called Robux, allowing them to purchase in-game items.

To download and play ROBLOX, you must have a computer or mobile device running Microsoft Windows, macOS, Android, or Apple iOS. ROBLOX is not available for the Chromebook, which runs Chrome OS.
