Rollback may refer to any of the following:

1. Rollback is a term used to describe the process of returning a computer back to a state when it was working properly.

2. Rollback describes the process of returning a hardware product or software program back to an earlier version after encountering issues with a later version.

3. Rollback is a SQL database command that allows a user to undo an insert, update or delete statement. Some SQL scripting applications include a rollback button that can be used to initiate the rollback command. Users may also type "rollback" and execute the command, as well.
