Rollback may refer to any of the following:
1. Rollback is returning a computer to a state when it was working properly.
2. Rollback returns a hardware device or program to an earlier version after encountering issues with a later version. To rollback a program, uninstall the current version of the program and then install the program again.
3. Rollback is a SQL (Structured Query Language) database command allowing users to undo an insert, update, or delete statement. Some SQL scripting applications include a rollback button to initiate the rollback command. Users may also type "rollback" and execute the command.
