RS-485

A TIA/EIA (Electronic Industry Association) standard for drivers and serial multiport communications that was introduced in 1983. RS-485 or EIA-485 supports the DB-9 and DB-37 connectors and with a lower impedance, RS-485 supports more nodes (up to 32) per line than RS-422.
