How to use the Shift+Down keyboard shortcut
To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Shift, and while continuing to hold, press the ↓ key.
Shift+Down in most text programs
Pressing Shift+↓ in most word processors and text editors is a method of highlighting text below the I-beam.
Shift+Down in Microsoft Excel
Pressing Shift+↓ extends highlight area down one row from current active cell.
