How to use the Shift+Up keyboard shortcut
To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Shift, and while continuing to hold, press the ↑ key.
Shift+Up in most text programs
Pressing Shift+↑ in most word processors and text editors is a method of highlighting text above the I-beam.
Shift+Up in Microsoft Excel
Pressing Shift+↑ extends highlight area up one row from current active cell.
