Slimline model

A slimline model is a small desktop computer that is thinner than most desktop computers. Slimline computers often include integrated components to save space, and have limited upgrade capabilities. The picture below is an example of a Hewlett-Packard slimline computer.
Advantages
- Excellent for workstations in large companies.
- Great computer for a low budget PC.
- Excellent computer for locations that lack a large area of workspace.
Disadvantages
- Little or no room for adding additional peripherals.
- Often require an LPX motherboard.
