Slotket

Short for socket adapter, a slotket is an adapter board with a Socket 8 or Socket 370 that fits into the Intel Slot 1 motherboards. The picture shows an example of a Socket 370 slocket and an example of a slocket.

Because all CPU (central processing unit) manufacturers have moved to socket only processors, it is highly unlikely you can encounter a Slotket. Users looking for a replacement to an older computer with a slotket may get a replacement in an online auction site.
