Spybot may refer to any of the following:
1. A spybot is the name of a worm first encountered on April 16, 2003 that spread through P2P networks, such as KaZaA, that links the infected computer to an IRC network; enabling users who are familiar with its channels to remotely control the computer.
2. When referring to a program Spybot is another name of Spybot Search and Destroy, a spyware detection and removal utility used with Microsoft Windows computers.
