Sometimes labeled as SysReq, SysRq is short for System Request and is a keyboard key that often shares the same key as the Print Screen key on today's keyboards. IBM originally introduced this key to be used to switch between programs without interrupting other software. Today, this key is no longer used, with the small exception of some debug programs. However, users may still press this key to utilize the print screen function.
