Introduced in June 2011 by David Stavens and Sebastian Thrun, Udacity is an e-learning course provider that teaches students about computer-related concepts. Included are programming languages, professional training in industry-standard software, and general knowledge about entry-level to advanced computer concepts. Udacity also allows companies to train their employees through the platform.
In addition to the library of available paid classes, Udacity also offers several classes that are free to access.
