VDC

VDC may refer to any of the following:
1. Short for voltage direct current, VDC is a measurement in a DC system. For example, a computer power supply may rate a cable or wire as +5VDC, an additional 5volts of direct current electricity.
2. Short for video display controller, VDC is an integrated circuit responsible for handling a TV video signal in early computers and gaming systems. Today, video display controllers are replaced by some form of GPU (graphics processing unit).
