Vhost

Alternatively called an IPP (Internet presence provider), vhost, short for virtual host, is a remote host computer that is run and maintained by another company. By having another company or ISP (Internet service provider) run and maintain the computers that host the files, the web developer can spend less time with maintenance, setup, upgrading, and security.
