Viewing angle

Updated: 11/13/2018 by Computer Hope

The viewing angle is the measure of degrees off from center at which the LCD screen, like an LED monitor or TV, can be viewed without imaging problems. Looking a display outside the optimal viewing angle can result in a darker image, lower quality image, or even the inability to see the image at all. Early LCD displays had a small viewing angle, but vastly improved technology has allowed for much greater viewing angles; up to nearly parallel to the screen.
