Alternatively referred to as a virtual office assistant or VA, a virtual assistant is a human who assists a person or company remotely with tasks.

Note: A virtual assistant should not be confused with a digital assistant, a computer program designed to assist with questions and tasks.

With more people having computers connected to the Internet using a broadband connection it is possible for a virtual assistant to help with many different tasks. Below are just a few examples of the types of tasks a virtual assistant could help you complete.
