Developed in 2004 and now owned by Walmart, Vudu is an online entertainment application that allows users to store a library of movies and television series. Users can purchase or rent movies, or seasons of television series, which can be accessed on any device by logging in with a username and password. Vudu also offers a selection of free movies, which are supported by advertisements.

Vudu is available on the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, the PlayStation and Xbox marketplaces, along with other popular entertainment platforms. It can also be accessed using an Internet browser.
