Warez

Warez describes copyrighted software that is distributed illegally. Unlike pirated software, warez is usually an unauthorized software release by organized groups. Warez also often disables any protection (e.g., CD key or online registration). It may also be software with a patch (a hack) available for it that bypasses the protection method altogether.
