The Windows key+V shortcut to enable and use clipboard history in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Note

For non-Windows keyboards this Windows key may be called "Super" or Command with an Apple keyboard.

How to use the Windows+V keyboard shortcut

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Windows key, and while continuing to hold, press V.

Windows key+V with PureText

In the PureText program, pressing Windows key+V is the default keyboard shortcut to paste formatted text as plain text.

Windows key+V in Microsoft Windows

While running Microsoft Windows 10 or Windows 11, pressing Windows key+V activates the clipboard history. Once enabled, the clipboard history allows the clipboard to store multiple items and paste any of them.
