Work area

A work area may refer to any of the following:
1. In general, a work area or working area can describe a place where one or more people work.
2. With computers, the work area is where users complete tasks on their computers. For example, the desktop is considered a work area. In a program such as a text editor, word processor, or spreadsheet, the location where you're typing text is considered the work area.
3. A work area is also synonymous with many of the workspace terms.
