  • Known for designing one of the first word processors in 1968. In 1969, she founded the Redactron Corporation, which manufactured a word processing system called the Data Secretary. The machine was the size of a small refrigerator, had no screen, and utilized an IBM Selectric typewriter for input.
  • She helped design the first computer reservation systems and computer data systems for banks.
