On and Off may refer to any of the following:
1. When referencing computer code or electricity, ON is represented as the number '1', and OFF by the number '0'. Combinations of these ones and zeros are what create binary code, which is what computers and other electronic devices use to communicate.
2. Linux command, see the on command page for additional information.
3. On also describes a state where a device, such as your computer or smartphone, has power and is functioning. Off is when it does not have power and cannot be operated.
