dl65
|
|
Name:Don Lawless
Start Date: March 07, 2004
Experience: I purchased my first pc in 1986 so that I could easily provide my employer a detailed weekly report on the project I was overseeing in the USA. I used a spreadsheet called Multiplan which I formatted to provide the results I was looking for. I should add that I knew nothing about computers at that time. Now I know enough about them to be dangerous……. LOL
RIP: It’s with great sadness to report that Don Lawless aka DL65 passed away early in March of 2009. As a tribute and a sign of respect for all his great help we’re keeping this up for him and his family to help make sure he’s not forgotten.

GX1_Man
 |
Name: GX1_Man
Start Date: August 18, 2005
Experience: I have worked with computers since the XT made it’s debut. I have experience in both hardware and software issues. I have used DOS, Linux, OS/2, and all permutations of Windows extensively. I am not interested in the latest and greatest graphics, gadgets or for that matter Vista (although I do have it on one machine to keep up to speed).
If you have questions on middle aged hardware - Pentium 1 and up, I am your "go to" guy. My experience is all hands on. I do NOT provide support via e-mail or PM. Obviously, I am a Dell user extensively, but I have worked a lot on other manufacturer’s boxes.
