    What does SAVE FILE mean when you try to open it and you get a message saying. "Do you want to save this file?"

    Sounds like a file that is elsewhere on the web and its offering you to save a copy of it locally if you like. Or the file has been altered/modified from its prior form and its confirming if you want to save the changes.
