I have this motherboard A8AE-LE Amberine M v1.03, after installing windows xp sp3 it automatically detects the drivers AC97 and after installing them i see the soud icon down right of the toolbar and if i play a tune i see the decibel levels going down and up but no sound is comming out of the speakers plugged in the green hole.

Is there a fix to that? The speakers work great on an other pc.

Try the chipset drivers from the MBoard manuf. site...
Re-boot after...

none of them worked. (tried with xp and win7) , the drivers install well but no sound comes out of the speakers.
i'm begining to think the mb sound card is fried... i just would like to try all that is possible to see if i can use it.

I'm trying to remap the stereo jacks so i can use the pink or blue one as a speaker output (green) but i cant seem to be able to. With regedit.
