Hello. So after all the pesky adds to upgrade to windows 10. I decided to finally do it. So it installed but upon booting itnup. It would keep starting then restarting. So I did a reset and during that mid reset. The computer turned off. When I turned it on I got that "no Operating system found, please remove any drives without an operating system" message. So i put Linux or Ubuntu on a DVD disc (because I don't have the key to download windows for free and I also lost the recovery disc it came with). And the computer refused to boot from the dvd! The boot order can be changed to make usb or dvd the first priority but it doesnt pick up that the dvd is even in there! Help!!! Thanks everyone

You need to provide some details about yurt system.
Did you ever make a backup?
Did the PC come with windows 7?
You can download Windows 7 for the purpose of making repairs to your system.
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7
Also, you can Google Windows 7 ISO

You will have a period of time to use the Windows 7 and find the key. The key should be somewhere on the case of the machine.

It's a Samsung i7 9 series I bought back in 2011. It came with windows 7 and I by no means have the same box. Also I cannot even get to any recovery portion to find any more about my machine. I may try to install that windows 7 you mentioned. But the issue is my computer is oddly not reading the disc when I put it in there

That model is an Ultra book with a touch screen.
If the DVD drive is not working good, you may ha veto try USB stick instead.

The ISO is available from other places. Bit do not try a pirate version.

Do not try the keys they have posted.  Somewhere you computer has the code on the machine. Look in the battery compartment. 8)

In my own experience, sometimes a download goes bad. And sometimes the USB thing does not work. So I have to try again. An when I don't read the instructions it can take me five ttys to get it right.   :'(
