How canI replace my hard drivein Windows 10
« on: September 29, 2016, 11:21:22 PM »
I am having trouble with my hard drives. I replaced one hard drive and still had issues. But  was able to transfer Windows 10 to the replacement drive.

Now here is the problem. I am running out of spare drives, I think. Rather than buy a new drive, I thought I would just take a drive from another PC. That PC has a good in stall of Windows 10 and a 500 GB drive.

But before I wipe out the 500 GB drive, I wanted to save the Windows 10 installation of the PC onto a spare 80 GB drive. Well, I have been working for hours trying to do that and somehow I forgot how to do it right.

Is there a clear,step-by-step guide about how to move Windows 10 from one drive to another?  Ans not loose activation? I did something wrong. :'(
