windows 98 antivirus

Last time I booted, it auto-updated.  Don't know how long that will last.

Well once again C_C I have to thank you, (and I did, ). I followed your lead and it is exactly as you stated.
I downloaded , updated and registered this AV.
I'm particularly pleased with the fact that the AV is Avast. I use Avast on my main PC and so far I have found it to be absolutely,if not the best,one of the best free(or otherwise) AV's available. And yes, how long the updates will last (this version),is anyones guess? But to have an AV version for which they are still forwarding updates(Win98 in this day and age), is quite amazing to me and very much appreciated. Again, thanks for this. overthehill

Avira is a good antivirus for windows 98. It is a lightweight antivirus that is appropriate to your operating system. You can search in the internet for the download link.
