Hello people! I dont really know how to describe this, take a look http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/6981/bug2r.jpg . Has any of you encountered somethink like this before?
What you should know is that if I start a game lets say, it fixes. If I drag an icon it fixes again, as you can see in the location near the incons on my desktop. This doesnt happen often, my video card is ATI Raedon HD 5770. The rest of the computer specs I have written in my avatar box.

Have you upgraded your video drivers recently? Did you make any changes to the computer right before this started happening? Like install a program or change any settings.

Well.. the AMD Vision Engine Control Center says I have all updates required. I kind of think this happens when I watch youtube clips, because sometimes my computer crashes while I watch them. So I updated adobe and java. But still, that didnt remove the problem.

Try removing and re-seating your vid card with all power to the PC removed...

Will just plugging off my pc for lets say an hour do it? Because I havent really removed it before... I might mess something up.

No. It looks as if the video card is either faulty or not properly seated. If you do not feel confident to try re-seating it yourself, try to find a technically experienced friend to help you or take it to a repair shop. Another thing to consider is overheating. Is the fan on the video card turning?

Yes, the fan is turning and I have control over it. Ive set it to auto right now, but when I yank it to 100% its like a jet engine :D Altho I never NEVER hear any sound from it when its on auto. Even when I play games like sc2 that make the card generate a lot of heat.

Keep an eye on it and make sure you tightened the screw properly. (Not too much!)

There is a thing called "thermal ratcheting" that sometimes happens. This is where a card or memory module warms up and expands and rises up a little in its slot. When it cools down it sinks down again but doesn't quite go back to where it was before. Eventually it will have moved up enough to cause contact problems. Therefore a prudent owner will gently press the card down from time to time, especially if they have had something like this happen.

Whoa thanks, I didnt even know that could happen. I havent had any problems since I took it out and placed it back in, but I will always remember to check the screw and push it a little every time I clean my computer :P
