Hello and welcome to Computer Hope Forum. My name is Dave. I will be helping you out with your particular problem on your computer.

    1. I will be working on your Malware issues. This may or may not solve other issues you have with your machine.
    2. The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine.
    3. If you don't know or understand something, please don't hesitate to ask.
    4. Please DO NOT run any other tools or scans while I am helping you.
    5. It is important that you reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
    6. Your security programs may give warnings for some of the tools I will ask you to use. Be assured, any links I give are safe.
    7. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.

If you can't access the internet with your infected computer you will have to download and transfer any programs to the computer you're using now and transfer them to the infected computer with a CD-RW or a USB storage device. I prefer a CD because a storage device can get infected. If you use a storage device hold the shift key down while inserting the USB storage device for about 10 secs. You will also have to transfer the logs you receive back to the good computer using the same method until we can get the computer back on-line.
    *************************************************************************
I seriously doubt that this is a malware problem. Please check some of the links I've provided here. We can run some more scans but I doubt they will repair the problem. Please check the Device Manager to see if there are any yellow warning icons. Right-click My Computer, select Manage and open the Device manager. Has it been doing this since you installed Windows 8?

It has been blue screening since I installed windows 8 yes and I intslaled it about 1.5 weeks ago. I also updated my BIOS to the latest version around the same time. My reason from going from windows 7 to windows 8 was to fix another problem which was why my revo pci express solid state drive wasnt showing up in windows at all but it was in the bios.

I installed windows 8 using the disc to a different hard drive (sata) to try to get the revo up and installed. I had no luck even after using the latest driver for the revo drive and the toolbox from OCZ didnt show any drives detected win windows as well.

As far as the bios and my more direct problem (the BSOD) I have the bios updated to the most recent version and the BSOD is rare.. like about once per 3 days or so.. I am quite experienced in computers so if you would like to be more direct and save yourself time feel free and thanks in advance for your help :-)

      Download BlueScreenView to your desktop.
      BlueScreenView
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply.

This is the instructions for Windows 7 but it should be the same for Windows 8

To Run the SFC /SCANNOW Command in Windows 7
        1. Open an elevated command prompt.

        2. To Scan and Repair System Files
NOTE: Scans the integrity of all protected system files and repairs the system files if needed.
        A) In the elevated command prompt, type sfc /scannow and press Enter. (see screenshot below)
NOTE: This may take some time to finish.

        B) Go to step 4.

        3. To Only Verify if the System Files are Corrupted
NOTE: Scans and only verifies the integrity of all proteced system files only.
        A) In the elevated command prompt, type sfc /verifyonly and press Enter.

        4. When the scan is complete, hopefully you will see all is ok like the screenshot below.
NOTE: If not, then you can attempt to run a System Restore using a restore point dated before the bad file occured to fix it. You may need to repeat doing a System Restore until you find a older restore point that may work.

        5. When done, close the elevated command prompt.

As mentioned before in a link I provided, I believe it's a hardware problem.

Ok I just experienced another one. in windows 7 its the error code 1A.. I ran a full memtest and no errors show. I ran a quick test with hdtune and before the results could show it had the blue screen.

However it did show green blocks more than halfway. I also 5 minutes later experienced another BSOD with error code 1E (attached below)

I will do a seatools full test on my hard drives but what do you think I should do? I attached this bsod txt file too.

Any further help guys please im dying out here... also MS fix it relates to audio drivers. I do not have an audio driver problem.

I'm sorry but I don't have much expertise with BSOD's of this nature. If you wish I can move this thread to a forum where you can recieve more help in this matter.

I'm suspecting a problem with the harddrive.

                Run hard drive diagnostics: tacktech.com
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: imgburn to burn .iso file to a CD (select "Write image file to disc" option), and make the CD bootable.
For Toshiba hard drives, see here:

Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps here

The only option I can see if to reformat and re-install the OS. I've never seen any infection acting like this.
