Linksys wireless n network usb question.
    « on: March 29, 2014, 12:27:40 PM »
I'm thinking of buying it for my computer to get a wifi access point to be able to use my nintendo 3ds online. Now the router that is in the living room is wired and not wireless. The question is can i get wireless in my room with just buying the network usb adapter for my computer and using the virtual router software online that works like you have a wireless router but virtual. Or would that still not work.

If you refer to a desktop wired and using a USB wireless adapter to share or create a hotspot, try the free version of Connectify http://www.connectify.me/ My only experience with Connectify is my laptop is directly wired and then the built-in wifi adapter is broadcasting the created password protected SSID to share wireless in range.
