Can't connect to WiFi, at my wit's end
    « on: November 18, 2014, 01:49:26 AM »
I'm currently using a VAIO with Windows 8. I live in a share house with several WiFi connections available, all the others are connecting fine but mine stopped working suddenly last night and I can't figure out why. All the networks are visible but when I type in the password (which it doesn't normally ask for as it remembers) it takes forever and then says it can't connect.

    1. Started by running the troubleshooter but no joy
    2. Turned WiFi off and back on
    3. Restarted computer
    4. Ran system restore
    5. Uninstalled and reinstalled adapter
    6. Flushed DNS
    7. Ran an advanced start up refresh (now I can't activate windows because it requires an internet connection)

    Any advice would be appreciated
