    « on: April 25, 2016, 11:38:37 AM »
    Hello everoyne,

I have a question , is it normally that i can't find the IP adress of the router in the arp table?
And when its normal why he did'nt show it.

I can find the ip adress from my 2 computers and the ip from my external DHCP server.

    Thx for the help  :)

In an Ethernet local area network, however, addresses for attached devices are 48 bits long. (The physical machine address is also known as a Media Access Control or MAC address.) A table, usually called the ARP cache, is used to maintain a correlation between each MAC address and its corresponding IP address.

Am I missing something here? My router IP and MAC are showing when I do this
      Code: [Select]
      c:\>arp -a

      Interface: 192.168.0.3 --- 0x3
        Internet Address      Physical Address      Type
        192.168.0.1           50-6a-03-41-d4-43     dynamic
      (etc)
