Have you determined what sound card you have to know what driver to apply to it? I didnt see any of this info and it would help to know what sound card you have or if integrated sound, what motherboard you have. This will require taking cover off computer and inspecting unless you already know this and havent shared yet this info.

Strollin, I will try and do what you said above , if need be there's a pc shop beside us and I can get it replaced.

Dave, don't have a clue about the name of anything and the cover was put on about 4 years ago and never opened but I will have a look as you said when I get the cover of.

As was pointed out after I posted, you should determine whether you have a separate sound card (my assumption) or whether the sound card is built-in to the motherboard.
