Dhrystones

Developed by Reinhold Weicker in 1984, dhrystone is a benchmark software program that tests a computer's integer performance and is a good test of the computer processor.

Each dhrystone is a measurement of how many times the program is able to run each second. For example, '1234 dhrystones per second' indicates that the program was capable of running 1,234 times in a one second period.
