EVDO

Short for Evolution-Data Optimized or Evolution-Data Only, EVDO or EV-DO is wireless data signal that transmits over a radio signal with a bandwidth of 1.25 MHz and data transfers between 153 Kbps and 2.4 Mbps depending on revision. This technology is often used for broadband Internet access on cell phones and other devices such as the Amazon Kindle.
