Flickr

The largest online community for viewing and sharing digital pictures. The service allows users to freely post and share their digital photographs. In addition to sharing images Flickr also makes great use of tagging images allowing users to easily find and sort through the millions of images on Flickr. On March 21, 2005, Yahoo announced that it would acquire Flickr and has since then incorporated this service into their products.
