Foistware
Additional software that is installed that doesn't relate to the program that the user is wanting to install. This tactic is sometimes used by freeware as a method of supporting the developer. For example, when installing a program it may have a checkbox that asks to install a search toolbar into your browser. If this was left checked this toolbar would also be installed when installing the free program you're installing.
