IBM 5100

The IBM 5100 is recognized as the first portable computer and was released in September 1975. The computer weighed 55 pounds and had a five inch CRT (cathode ray tube) display, tape drive, 1.9 MHz PALM processor, and 64 KB of RAM (random-access memory).
