Keygen

Keygen may refer to any of the following:
1. A computer program that creates a key or CD key necessary to activate a specific copy of software. Keygens are used in software piracy because the user has illegally copied the software and needs a key to install the program on their computer.
Note
Computer Hope does not have or distribute keygen programs.
2. With HTML (hypertext markup language), the <keygen> tag designates a key-pair generator field used within <form> tags.
