The Microsoft Windows Reliability Monitor is a feature found in Windows Vista and 7 that allows you to view the reliability history of your computer and identify past critical events, warnings, and informational events. In the picture below, is an example of what the Reliability Monitor looks like running under Windows 7 on a computer with past critical events, warnings, and information events. As can be seen in this picture, each day is broken down into columns, when a column is clicked additional details about that day will appear in the below the chart.
How to run the Windows Reliability Monitor
- Click the Start Orb
- In the Search box type reliability and press enter for View the Reliability History.
