SBE
Short for Small Business Edition, SBE was used to describe a version of Microsoft Office suite that was generally shipped with OEM computers. Microsoft SBE may have included such programs as MS Word 97, MS Excel 97, MS Publisher 97, MS Outlook 98, MS Small Business Financial Manager 98, Direct Mail Manager, MS Internet Explorer 4.0 and MS Expedia Streets 98. It is important to note that no SBE included Microsoft Access.
Finally, Microsoft is no longer following the SBE model and therefore a new computer will not include SBE but may have Office software programs included with the computer.
