Wall plate
A
wall plate used to cover a portion of a wall where there is an opening
for electrical outlets or various types of cords, notably computer cords such as
network cords. The wall cover is usually rectangular in shape and allows the
cord(s) to come through the wall while covering the larger opening in the wall
that was opened to run the cord through. In the picture to the right is an
example of a combo wall plate from Pyle Home that has an
HDMI, Coaxial, and dual
Ethernet jacks.
