VIRUS INFORMATION
01/31/2001 - Designed to attempt to steal America Online (4.0 and
5.0) users names and passwords and send them VIA e-mail as well
as through the "buddy list"
SYMPTOMS
This virus is sent through e-mail with
the subject reading "hey you" and in the body of the mail
the text "hey i finally got my pics scanned...theres like 5 or 6
of them...so just download it and unzip it...and for you people who
don't know how to then scroll down...tell me what you think of my pics
ok?"
In the e-mail the file mine.zip is attached.
This file contains the virus.
HOW TO CLEAN VIRUS
To not become infected with the
computer virus do not open the e-mail attachment.
If you believe you have downloaded or
opened this file obtain the latest update from your Virus Scanner
developer and clean the computer using the latest update.
