    help! keyboard problems

    my keyboard only  shows characters after i  click on  the mouse
    ex: to type "this" i click on "t"" then i click my mouse and then it finally shows up, then i click on "h" then click my mouse etc,

    help!!!
     ???  :'(  ???  :-[ ???

    I assume the just started. What is new since the last time it worked properly (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc)?
