I purchased a USB to 25 Pin Parallel Printer Cable adapter Converter online a few weeks back.
Unfortunately, though, it is not working
* I have connected it to my printer, but nothing is working.
* I have also installed the correct printer driver onto my computer.
* I have also followed the 'step by step' instructions but when I get to the following part (please see below) nothing happens.
That is, NO device is detected.
"2. Plug in the USB to Parallel cable into the USB port and Windows will detect the IEEE-1284 device and run the Add New Hardware Wizard to assist you in setting up the new device. Click Next to continue."
Please can somehow advise I can fix this so that the USB adapter is workable?
