total blackout

hi im using windows 7
my computer boots up normally, but after the logon and welcome screen, the screen goes blank, the only thing that san be found is the cursor.
I've tried all the shortcuts and hotkeys but it doesn't work...
the same problem goes for the safe mode...
please help....

Do you have a Windows 7 disk?

    Arrange for windows 7 disk and boot from dvd, Then below install now click on repair your computer and select system repair. Did you upgraded from windows vista to win 7 or you did a clean installation?
