Desktop blank at startup

Please help.  When I turn on my computer, my desktop is blank for about 5-10 minutes and then all of the icons finally load up.  The wallpaper is in the background and the mouse moves, but no icons.  If I do Control - Alt - Delete to turn on the task manager, then I can get my applications to individually run at that time.  Any and all help would be appreciated.

What is new since the last time the system started normally (new hw, sw, virus, error, etc?)

I don't know it has been doing this for awhile.  My C drive was really full, but I just bought an external hard drive and cleared some space on my C drive.

Try a clean boot and see what happens (mscofig - startup tab - selective startup - uncheck everything - reboot)

I unchecked everything and restarted.  It was unsuccessful.

I have followed all of the instructions in order and have posted the logs for Super Anti Spyware, Malware and Hijack This.  The only problem I encountered was when I was running the JavaRa to remove old versions of Java, it kept encountering a problem and had to shut down each time.  I appreciate any help that you can give me.
